Trades for the Day

BMO and NA had good earnings and raised dividends yield.  They popped up today.  Those are my top two CAD bank holdings

Sold TSE:BMO 10 shares @ 148.50 = $1,485.00 to lock in 100.70% return.  I'm trying to reduce my BMO as it does take up 8.87% of my WS overall portfolio.  I am down to 323.52 shares.

Bought TSE:MSTE 60 shares @ 16.30 = $978
Bought TSE:MSTE 7 shares @ 16.26 =  $113.82 to average down to collect the ex-dividend date on May 31st.  Current, share count 300 x 0.66 = $198.00 which will be paid out June 9, 2025.

Dividend Received and Trades for the Day

Received TSE:BMO dividend on May 26, 2025 - $530.30.

Used TSE:BMO dividend to buy TSE:MSTE for 33 shares @ 16.60 = $547.80

Sold VOO for 5 shares @ 542.6506 = $2,713.25 with 17.90% gain.  I still have 5 shares left of VOO.

Bought PLTY for 43 shares @ 62.06 = $2,668.58 

Comparison as of May 27, 2025 at close:
1) VOO 5 shares = $2,716.70
2) PLTY 43 shares = $2,670.30

I will be dripping my dividends back into the the respective underlying and compare them at the end of the year.

Trades for Today

US Market is closed for Memorial Day.  But the Canadian Market is open.

TSE: HHIS - 133 shares @ 11.80 = $1,569.40 will generate additional $33.25/month in dividends
TSE: MSTE - 30 shares @ 17.59 = $527.70 will generate additional $33.00/month in dividends

Ex-Dividend date is May 31, 2025.  I will receive the dividend payout on June 9th.  These dividends will be re-invested back into the same CC ETFs.

I have no more cash to buy additional shares.  I may trim my CAD bank positions to invest in different CC ETF for income or TSE:XIC for CAD growth.

Today, I also received my $225.56 Promotional Bonus from my Winter Bundle.
